The aim of this study is to determine the cultural tendency of the doctors and nurses working in the hospitals in Manisa. This study was carried out in June- August 2009. Target population of the study consists of the doctors and nurses working in Manisa State Hospital, Private Vatan Hospital and Celal Bayar University Hospital (N=998). Any sampling method has not been used in the study and doctors and nurses who accepted taking part in the study has been included (n=634). As data collecting means, The Model of Culture Fit developed by Aycan, Kanungo et al, was used. In this model, social culture is evaluated from the point of cultural paternalism, fatalism, power distance, and communiaritism. Whether cultural tendency differiantiated in terms of demographic features was subjected to review. It was determined that there was differences in cultural level in terms of gender, age, duty, and education level. As a result of the study, it was determined that dependence on the community played an important role. On the other hand, power distance had the lowest rate compared to other values.
